House of Lennon is a part of our Old Red Barn Production dream of creating a music studio. That dream has become a reality. Explore the songs that bridge generations, from Christine's folk roots to Jared's modern innovation.
Our 2015 Kubota Tractor officially arrived on July 15—and it’s already proving to be a game changer for the farm. This versatile machine came fully equipped with an impressive lineup of attachments that allow us to tackle projects in every season.
This arrival marks a major step forward—dramatically increasing what we can accomplish and how efficiently we can care for the land.

Chris and I have officially signed the papers — we own the farm! Our dream of “un-retiring” to Chris’ northern Minnesota family homestead is now a reality. Established in 1883 by her great-grandparents, the 80-acre farm holds deep roots, and we’re excited to carry on its legacy. We’ve already started projects and plan to add a garden, chickens, barn cats, and more. Chris’ mom, Joyce, will be tending her flower and vegetable beds, and we look forward to blending our love of the farm, music, family, and friends. Stay tuned for the adventures ahead!

With the Big House, the Coop, the Shop, the Barn, the Chapel, and the Granary, and lots of trees and lawns, we've got room to dream! Follow along as we renovate and refresh the place we call home!
Under the glow of the yard lights and a cold Minnesota sky, our Kubota tractor earns its keep once again during the winter of 2026. With steady hands on the controls, Cody snow blows the drifting snow, carving clean paths through the darkness and keeping our roads open and passable. There’s something reassuring about the hum of that diesel engine on a cold night — dependable, steady, and built for exactly this kind of work. While the wind bites and the snow piles up, the Kubota keeps moving forward, clearing the way one pass at a time.

Joyce is an expert stained glass artist who is able to create small and large pieces and excels in teaching others how to enjoy the art of glass work.

Over the years, the farm has been home to an eclectic mix of animals—goats, llamas, alpacas, pigs, turkeys, horses, dogs, and cats. Today, fifteen hens have taken up residence in the newly refurbished chicken coop, bringing fresh energy and a touch of charm to the barnyard.
Of course, no farm is complete without loyal cats and dogs. Four hardworking farm cats keep the barnyard in order, while Oscar, our vigilant dog, stands guard against pesky squirrels, ensuring all are safe and sound.
Beyond the barnyard, the surrounding woods reveal traces of northern Minnesota's abundant wildlife, making it a paradise for nature lovers and a true reflection of farm life intertwined with nature’s beauty.
Our plans to manage our 30 acres of forest land involve harvesting firewood for heat, as well as clearing out brush to improve forest management. These activities help to promote biodiversity, improve habitat for wildlife, and ensure that the land remains healthy and vibrant.
